Ahmad Hakym bin Ahmad Hilmy

Better known as Kymio, he is an architect by profession and the founder of KLSketchnation a non-profit NGO that runs sketching activities around Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's capital. Hakym also co-organized the World Sketching Symposium and has been featured as one of the contributors in the internationally published book ARCHISKETCHER: A Guide of Spotting and Sketching an Urban Landscape by Simone Riyard.

Cassandra J Poyong

Cassandra is a national Brazilian Jiu Jitsu athlete, a coach to young children pursuing the sport and also runs her own business, Organically Moi.

She was the first woman to represent Malaysia in the Sea Games for the martial arts category BJJ, in 2019, the very first time the category was introduced to the Sea Games, and brought home the silver medal.


She is also the first Malaysian Female to have ever acquired a World Champion Title in the United Arab Emirates Jiu Jitsu Federation (UAEJJF) Championship, under the Blue Belt Masters Category. This event is regarded as the most important event in the BJJ world.


Cassandra’s most recent achievement in the sport was a bronze medal for the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) European Open in Portugal last January. To this date, Cassandra has also collected a total of twenty-one gold medals from the Copa Da Malasia tournaments, Malaysia’s largest grappling tournament. 

Zad Chin Qi Qi

Zad is one of the two Malaysian's who have been accepted into Harvard University for the incoming fall semester.

Coming from a low-income family, she realized the power of education in helping her and her family, and is very passionate about the issue of education inequality in Malaysia.

​

Zad has founded three non-profit bodies so far- Project BAWE (a tutoring service for children from B40 families), base.initiative, a platform to help students applying for overseas scholarships after SPM, and lastly, Projek Boundless, a project that aims to provide inspiration and help to students to apply to top universities in the world. 

​

She hopes by using her own efforts, she can play a part in alleviating education inequality in Malaysia and show students that they can bring a change in this cause as well.

Aneesah Khadijah Suhaidi

Aneesah is a 19 year-old youth internet advocate and a passionate activist who has just completed her foundation in law. Despite having studied a foundation in law, Aneesah has also been passionate about cybersecurity, and how people use the Internet.


She is an active member of Internet Society Malaysia Chapter, or ISOC for short, an organisation that aims to promote the open development, evolution, and use of the Internet for the benefit of all Malaysians.


Aneesah’s activism and passion in Internet governance has allowed her to work closely with a number of government agencies as well as organisations such as Google, the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia (MCMC), CyberSecurity Malaysia and many more. 


She is also Malaysia's Ambassador in the Hong Kong-based Netmission Academy class of 2019/2020. One of Netmission Academy’s missions is to encourage the further empowerment of young participants to advance, protect and defend the open and multi-stakeholder development, governance and use of a respectable and harmonious Internet environment for the benefit of all people in Asia and throughout the world.

Colleen Augustin

Colleen is a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Fighter. She began MMA training in 2017, alongside being a professional obstacle course racer (OCR).


In 2019, she made the decision to focus solely on MMA, and left the OCR scheme. Since then, Colleen has brought home many achievements, including the bronze medal for IMMAF-WMMAA World Championship 2019 and the Champion title for IMMAF-WMMAA Asian Open 2019.

It was both the first time a Malaysian brought home the gold medal at an international amateur stage in MMA and a medal on the world championship stage.

Colleen has been a vegan for about 3 years and believes that her diet has helped her in her sport.

Apart from MMA, Colleen is very passionate about empowering both men and women to strive for a more mutually respecting society.

Christine Chong Su Yin

Christine has undergone years of training in Ballet, Drums and Speech & Drama. She obtained the ATCL Diploma (with Distinction) in Performing Speech and Drama in 2013, and is the youngest person in Malaysia to obtain this qualification, at just 13.

​

At age 17, she completed her degree-equivalent LTCL in Communication Skill (publicspeaking) and is currently completing her Masters in Communication and Media Studies by Università Telematica Pegaso (Italy). Currently, Christine is 20 years old.


She has a deep love for the arts, and has performed in all seasons of the award-winning production, Ola Bola Musical with Enfiniti, including the national tour.
 
She also performed in the award-winning production, Fame the Musical at KLPAC (Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Center).

Christine was also one of the dancers in Asia’s Got Talent Season 3 and has performed for the opening ceremony of the 2017 Sea Games.

Khor Sue Yee

Inspired by Lauren Singer; an enthusiastic permaculture designer, Sue Yee started her zero waste journey in 2016 when she was working in Beijing, China. She believes education, knowledge sharing and community living help towards a sustainable future.

She later joined Aurora Tin, and started a zero-waste movement group when she got back to Malaysia - Zero Waste Malaysia to connect like-minded people sharing resources and their zero-waste journey.

As their movement grew, an idea came across their mind to grow this movement group into a NGO that could bring the messages across the nation. Now, Zero Waste Malaysia stands strong with 61.7K followers across both their Instagram and Facebook platforms.
